The sun rises. It is a crisp, fine dawn.
Over the hills, a light rain falls and nourishes flowers left on headstones.
Among the forests, animals make nests with mates and children, newly born.
In sprawling cities, people begin to bustle, filling their busy days with activity.
Today is the day the world ends.

Fata Dira is a solo exploration and storytelling game about trying to be helpful in the face of looming apocalypse. When the end of the world is measured in hours, what will you do? Will you wake up in the morning and try it all again?

Fata Dira was made for the Carta Jam! To play, you'll need a standard deck of playing cards, a token for your character, a six-sided die, and a place to keep notes.

Got this in the Solo But Not Alone bundle and as a huge fan of Majora's Mask I really wanna play it 👀 though I like having my rules in physical, easily-to-leaf-through format, and the colours of PDF aren't exactly gonna be easy on my printer. Any chance you could add in a print-friendly version? 💗

Hi there! I've added a printer friendly version that should work better, let me know if you run into any issues with it!

Hell yeah tysm!

I loved the concept of the game and the way it allows you as the player to be creative with the items you get and how to use them in the world. The game has a nostalgic feel that encapsulates hopeful adventure and sadness. The world building through the cards and their descriptions also adds to a fascinating adventure.

The Merchant doesn't have a description apart from what items they start with. Is this intentional?

I canNOT believe this oversight slipped by for so long. Thanks so much for catching it!

No problem, dude.

I love this game's flexible and wide-open style! It really sparks individual and special narratives.

I especially love the use of questions.
